International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the field of study and practice that focuses on the interactions between nations, including the analysis of foreign policies, diplomacy, conflicts, and alliances. It encompasses a wide range of topics such as international security, political economy, global governance, human rights, and international law. The discipline is concerned with how states and non-state actors, such as international organizations and multinational corporations, engage with one another on the global stage. By examining the relationships among countries, International Relations seeks to understand the underlying principles that govern global affairs and the impact of those interactions on peace, stability, and development in the international system.
