Dakar Rally

The Dakar Rally is an annual off-road endurance event, originally established in 1979, that involves a series of long-distance races across challenging terrains. Traditionally, it was held from Paris, France, to Dakar, Senegal, but over the years, the route has changed, and since 2009, the rally has been hosted in South America and, more recently, in Saudi Arabia. Participants compete in various categories, including motorcycles, cars, trucks, and quads, navigating through deserts, mountains, and other rugged landscapes. The event is known for its extreme difficulty and requires not only driving skill but also navigation and endurance, making it one of the most prestigious and challenging motorsport events in the world.
