Handball

Handball is a fast-paced team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six court players and a goalkeeper) attempt to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular court divided into two halves, with goals located at each end. Players can use any part of their body above the knee to pass, dribble, and shoot the ball, but they may not hold the ball for more than three seconds or take more than three steps without dribbling. Matches typically consist of two halves, and the team that scores the most goals wins. Handball is played both indoors and outdoors, but the most common form is indoor handball, governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The sport emphasizes speed, teamwork, and strategy, involving quick movements and tactical plays. Handball is popular in various countries, particularly in Europe, and features in international competitions, including the Olympic Games and World Championships.
